Yukon 360 Canoe and Kayak Race

Yukon 360 Maps for 2011

There are no good river charts for the Stewart River.  You can use the Candian Topo maps.  Maps "115-P McQuestern" and "115-O & 115-N Stewart River" cover the Stewart River from 6km past Mayo.  You will need 115-M for the first 6Km.

Mike Roarke has published some really good charts of many northern Rivers, including the Yukon.  You can get the Charts from Marsh Lake (30Km South of Whitehorse) to Dawson for $22, or from Carmacks to Dawson (half the distance) for $13.  They are available directly from Mike.  Email him at riversnorth@gmail.com, or you can order his maps from Up North, Kanoe People, or Fireweek Books all here in Whitehorse.

For the stewart, I suggest printing out the Google Earth arial photos.  These are not perfect, and there is a little cloud cover over one bend, but I like them.  Here are some images more or less suitable for printing. Click on the images for the full size. These are copyright Google, and no infringement of their rights is intended. I reccomend Google Earth and Google maps are really useful tools.

There are a few waypoints marked on the map. These are a superset of the ones used in the tracking software. They are availabile here
